Rev. Dr. Joyce Rosalind Aryee is a distinguished Ghanaian leader, minister, and leadership consultant with over four decades of exceptional service across the public, private, and faith sectors.
She made history as the first woman to serve as Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Chamber of Mines and the first woman to lead a Chamber of Mines in Africa. Her public service also includes ministerial appointments in the Ministries of Information and Education, as well as the National Commission for Democracy, where she contributed significantly to Ghana’s democratic and national development.
A respected corporate leader, she has served on the boards of several reputable institutions and has mentored emerging leaders across Africa through various leadership initiatives. Her outstanding contributions have earned her numerous national and international honours, including the Companion of the Order of the Volta.
As Board Chair of La Reine Foundation, Rev. Dr. Aryee provides strategic leadership, governance, and mentorship, championing the Foundation’s vision of empowering women and girls to reach their full potential. She is also passionate about Christian ministry and the arts.
